Need insight on Hysterectomy

Hi girls!

I need some idea from a person who has gone through a Hysterectomy.

My aunt got one done a couple of months ago and I was wondering how long her total recovery will be. She works as a waitress and it's a tough job yes, so I wanted to know when she could go back into working as full-time.

I was told by a third person that her doctor says total recovery take about a year, is this true?
