When to try for #2

Question

After years of infertility I finally gave birth to a beatiful baby girl.  Since it took us so long to conceive and we eventually want another baby im not taking any birth control.  I recently started to research how much time it takes for your body to heal and the recommendation is about 2 years.  Im already 35 and it took over 4 years to get pregnant.  Has anyone one had back to back pregnacies?  Any complications?  I had a c section, does this change things?

My brothers gf had a baby boy in May, 10 months later they had a daughter...my great granny had a son and on the two week check up they told her she was pregnant again...breast feeding and right after birth your more fertile they say...

We’ve also struggled to fall pregnant with our little girl, due in Oct, with ICSI... My husband and I have spoken about it and I’m not going on any birth control once baby is born, if I fall pregnant again soon it would be such a miracle that I would just try to suck it up and push through... I’ve read about loads of mommies falling pregnant 2/3months after baby is born and they are fine... Woman are extremely tough, we can do this! 😉💪🏻

I struggled to get pregnant with my son he was conceived my third round of clomid. We knew we wanted my son to have a sibling so we started trying right away but my doctor wouldn’t prescribe me clomid until at least a year after my sons birth so I went back on clomid when my son was 13 months and I am now pregnant again on my third round of clomid and my son will be  2 yrs 1 month when my baby is born.

I would say start after you stop breastfeeding at 6 months . It will take awhile since they will do blood tests then preparation which takes about 4 months Total before transfer.
I am 28 weeks pregnant and planning not to use any fp after delivery and try as soon as I stop breastfeeding because time goes . I have 3 more embabies on ice. Good luck and update us.

I had a c-section and I’m just a few months shy of 2 years pp. We started trying when my son was only a year since that was what they recommended after the c-section, but I can definitely say I’m much healthier now than I was a year ago so it might be a blessing that I didn’t get pregnant right away. I just turned 36, though, so I know how you feel about age and time. It took us over a year to get pregnant with our first as well. 
I think 2-3 years is really ideal to wait, but if you don’t feel like waiting that long then you should at least wait 1 year so you’re less likely to have a uterine rupture.
