Foundation

I'm a makeup noob..i do mascara and that's usually it. I have a Mac foundation that's a pretty sheer finish, and back before I had my daughter is was enough coverage for when I wanted to wear it. But now that I'm dead tired I have circles, blemishes, red spots, just ew. Can anyone recommend maybe a medium coverage foundation that is cheaper than mac? I don't want to cover my freckles, which is why I went for sheer initially. Thank you in advance! I use a Mac concealer too, but looking for a better foundation
