Anyone else’s baby still hates solids??

I am now at the end of the rope. My daughter will have a few bites here and there but that’s it. At 10.5 months she is still surviving on breast milk. I have tried every trick in the book but she still hates solids. 
Is anyone else in the same boat?

My abdullah will be 1 on 12 August but he started accepting baby food on Tuesday last week.... I tried so hard and fed him exclusively, the doctor told me he'll eat when he's ready. Thank God for my mum, he cried the first few days but he's getting use to it. Don't worry baby will be fine

We can't get beyond purees.  He will eat puffs, cheerios, and small bites of toast. All of his "real" food (fruits, veggies, meat) are all pureed.  I've tried so many different foods.   He gags horribly on all of them,  or completely refused.  He was 11 months on the 16th.

I know it’s so frustrating but just keep offering solids. You never know when your baby will start liking solids. Plus it can take 20-30 exposures to a food before they decide if they like it or not. Just a lot of work for us but slowly overtime it will all pay off. Hang in there!

Not my baby but a friend's is 10 months and exclusively breastfeed. He has always hated solids and baby food, literally will only eat Cheetos and water besides breastmilk, he still wakes up 2-3 times a night to nurse too 🙃 I can't imagine how stressful that is. The pediatrician told her he's probably just always full on milk and to try to stop the night nursing sessions but she tries to feed him less milk and he still doesn't care for solids. At this point I think every baby is different and maybe she's just not done nursing yet. I've read about weaning at a year (formula) and having them only on solids by then but it seems breast milk is different and there's nutritional value in continuing to give it to them whereas there's  (supposedly) none in continuing formula. 
Also want to add that my friends baby was "late" in doing a lot of stuff compared to my daughter, she used to ask me all the time what I did to get her to talk, walk, etc. I Just believe every baby's different and will do what they feel like they're ready to do. I read somewhere once that if your baby doesn't seem like they understand what your trying to do/get them to do, they're probably not ready and to wait and try again in a few days/weeks. Worked very well with my lo and she was less frustrated with me trying to get her to do stuff she didn't want to do. 
Also apparently pincher grasp = good enough hand eye development to be able to chew and swallow well
So if she doesn't have a good pincher grasp yet maybe she's really not ready for solids.

My son will be turning 11 months on the 30th and he will only eat baby food, but nothing with texture. We try giving some fruits and vegetables very small pieces and he’s not having it, he always gags on it and even throws up sometimes.

Anyone else’s baby still hates solids??
