What do you think about “Friday” Weddings?

I’m having trouble debating on my wedding date. I want to have it next year on our anniversary  but it falls on a Friday. What do you think about going to a Friday wedding? Our ceremony would be around 5pm (we are having a outside wedding and want to capture those beautiful pictures). I need opinions!

If I'm invited to a wedding, I go. It doesn't matter what day of the week. My best friends wedding is friday the 13th so. 💁

I got married on a Wednesday and a surprising amount of people showed up 😂🤣
Our actual wedding was on a Saturday and a ton of people couldn’t make it!!

I mean, go for it. But do remember that you’re basically asking people to take time off from work in order to arrive on time. That’s a big ask for a large group of people. However - they can say no, so do you!

Yeah it’s cheaper for some venues depending on where your getting married and if everyone you want can be there! Go for it !

I had my wedding on a Tuesday but it was only because we wanted to get married on our anniversary. It was a very small ceremony and reception and all of a guests were able to attend.

We had our wedding on a Friday evening as well. The only people that took the day off were ones that would have had to anyways since they were out of state. I also attended a wedding on a Thursday before in which I missed the ceremony due to work, but made it to the reception. Pick a date for you. People that are wanting/willing to go will.

Our wedding was on a Friday, and we had friends whose wedding was two weeks before ours (also on a Friday).
It's perfectly fine, and it saved us a huge amount of money.
