Cvs check

I’m absolutely shitting myself, due to the fact my partner and his siblings carry a genetic disorder that can cause an unborn baby to have defects that wouldn’t allow them to live I have to have a cvs check.

Now I don’t know about you guys but having a massive needle put in my stomach so close to my baby is freaking me out, has anyone ever had a cvs check I know that I have to have it after 9 weeks to lower the chances of miscarriage but it scares me that I have to take three days bed rest

The only bonus is that the test gets done between 9-11 weeks and I get results back within 10 days and they also tell the gender
