Makeup Tips?

Okay so I’ve recently gotten into makeup and I was wondering if any of you can offer some tips! 
And also, I’m not sure if I’m being too skeptical but each time I apply foundation it seems super noticeable. Not cakey, but you know? Can someone tell me how to make it look more natural even if I don’t put a lot on?

Use a primer definitely so your foundation doesn’t look too cakey. Also make sure you blend it out and down your neck. If you don’t want it super noticeable, you can get a tinted moisturizer or make your own with mixing some foundation and moisturizer.

My tip is to practice, practice and practice. You’ll learn what works for your skin and face. And there at a TON of tutorials on the internet for any questions you have. 
You may need to try a light coverage foundation or try blending it out a little more. I prefer a more full coverage and I like to go over my face a few times with a blender sponge to make it look more natural. Be sure to use a moisturizer before applying too :)
