So I just turned 21 weeks today and yesterday i found out my babygirl is almost a pound and his high above my belly button...
Wtf😳
that would put me like 2 weeks ahead of schedule.... Like 22 weeks today🤦 Maybe im crazy

I had my anatomy scan on Monday at 20+2 and my baby was measuring estimated 15 ounces. First of all, it’s an estimate, not an exact measurement, so there’s still a chance your baby weighs a “normal” amount for 21 weeks. Also, being a week or two off, especially at this stage, is normal and fine. Your baby might come a little early, which could be nice because then you don’t have to watch your due date come and go! 😂 that’s why they do the “dating scan” early on, because babies are more likely to grow on sort of a standard at that point, but after your second trimester they start growing at different rates, that’s how some people get big babies and some get smaller ones! It’s absolutely nothing to worry about.

I had the same thing happen at my anatomy scan! He’s very “tall” for his age, making heavier. Making me nervous for when I’m farther along 😬😅

I was told with my daughter that she was gonna be a very big baby throughout my pregnancy. She came out 7 lbs 10 oz at 39 weeks 🙄 it’s all an estimate.

My baby boy has been measuring a week ahead for a lot of this pregnancy, it just means they are bigger than the "average" baby at that stage. Very normal and nothing to worry about. The weight is just an estimate anyway, sometimes they are off and babies come out smaller than they think they will.
