Zofran??

I’m 6w+5 and the nausea has been sucky!! No vomiting. I have tried b6 with unisom this week without much relief. Sucking on the preggie pops without much help but they do taste good lol  I have Zofran and was thinking of trying one a day to get through this! Any issues with people taking zofran? Did your dr recommend it when nothing else worked? I’m not vomiting but I end up sleeping all day just to not feel nauseous. Ugh

I was prescribed it in the second trimester. They don’t really recommend it in the first trimester.

I'm 32 weeks and been taking zofran since 8 weeks. My nausea and vomiting has been terrible. I have been hospitalized for a total of 4 nights because of dehydration due to vomiting. An OB wont prescribe something that is known to be harmful.

Zofran is supposed to be fine for baby but it’s useless!!! It doesn’t work AT ALL. So I had to take promethazine. I’m 18 weeks exact and still have food aversions. Ugh.

Doctors don’t love Zofran now because there have been some studies to show adverse effects on the baby. I was given Phenergan when I had all day nausea and still needed to work full time. Call your doctor and ask for some medication. I wouldn’t take the Zofran unless the doctor prescribes it. I know they only prescribe it now for people who have more severe sickness.

I was prescribed it with my first. I took half of one once and it worked wonders. But then I researched it and then I decided not to take it anymore. But I guess they wouldn’t give you something you are not supposed to take 🤷🏻‍♀️
