nipple shield

any mamas have tips on how to get my baby to latch without a nipple shield. i have nothing against using it but i would really like that skin on skin contact and i’ve been doing some reading on the importance of it. i have flat inverted nipples which make it hard for her to latch and she’s gotten pretty used to the shield so i feel like now it’s impossible. i even pumped a little before feeding her once to make my nipple like out more and she still struggled.
