Question

Has anyone experienced finding out they were pregnant later in pregnancy due to having cycles every month still? Was the pregnancy still viable and healthy? Having some concerns but I’m still early on so I don’t wanna say that’s what’s happening but I don’t want to say it’s not happening either 🤔

You can bleed during pregnancy but you can’t get a true period. During pregnancy the cervix is closed and the placenta implants into the uterine lining. If the uterine lining is to be completely shed there would be nothing left. There are many other reasons to bleed in pregnancy, although the degree of the bleed can cause concern.
