Pregnant with a puppy?

So I got a young puppy about a week before I found out I'm pregnant. So far he's showing himself to be a huge source of stress for me as I'm taking care of him on my own and working roughly 50 hours a week. I'm just looking for more opinions on raising a puppy while pregnant. Am I in over my head? Would it make me a bad person to get rid of him?

You have roughly 8 months to sort it out before your bub comes. No need to get rid of the puppy.

I got a puppy two weeks before I found out I was pregnant. She required a lot in the beginning but with consistency it definitely gets better!! I love her so much and baby will be here in about 3 weeks!

Same situation here! We got our puppy about 10 days before we found out I was pregnant and she was a handful. We just worked through the puppy stage and she’s a lot better now.

I also got a puppy the same month I conceived in, also working full time,  it is hard and they are more stressful at first than ever but it does get better. this is our pup now she is 6 months old(we got her when she was 6weeks old)

Get some training classes. By the time your little one comes your puppy will be almost full grown and can be completely trained.

My family actually has a tradition that if they don’t currently have a dog and they get pregnant, they also adopt a puppy. It can actually be easier. A puppy will help you get the exercise you need, will keep you moving, and can be an amazing companion to your new little one. Puppies are a lot of work, but to be honest - you made a commitment. I TOTALLY get that it probably seems overwhelming, but I can almost guarantee that once you get a routine going you’ll find it isn’t so bad. 
Idk maybe it’s totally different for you. But I’ve seen what happens to dogs that get tossed around. I would never give up my dog as long as it wasn’t dangerous.
