Also just curious: How soon did labor start for you after you lost your plug?

I had my cervix checked today and I was 1 cm dilated - started bleeding a LOT of red blood right afterwards which they said would be normal. It tapered off and turned brown and eventually wasn’t there at all. A few hours later I had bright pink mucous coming out. I think maybe this was my mucous plug? Has anyone had this happen after an exam?
