Cleft lip??

Are they able to detect a cleft lip in your 20 weeks ultrasound? I am 36 weeks and I had one today and the pic they got for me looks weird to me almost like my daughter has one. They didn’t say anything at my 20 week, or this time. Is the pic just weird and a shadow? Or does it looks like one?? I’m nervous...

I think it may look that way but because it’s a frontal view of the face and sometimes things may appear distorted.l depending of the angles. They most definitely would have told you if they saw something.

They would have seen it at 20 week, it's something they look for and will make sure they get a shot of. Here's tour probably just seeing a shadow since you're so far along shadows are more common now.

They would be able to tell you. There are a couple different indicators that they check on for that during the anatomy scan.

I see what you mean, I can see it in both pics, but you would think they would say something? Maybe double check and ask at your next appointment?
