Doesn’t like formula... any tips?

My babe is basically wanting to ween off breastfeeding and all she wants is finger foods and water. I stopped pumping before going to bed a week ago so today I only had one bottle of breast milk to send to daycare. Apparently she doesn’t like formula because she drank her whole bottle of breast milk at 9am and then refused the bottle that was half/half and the full formula bottle. I really HATE pumping and don’t want to start the pre-bedtime pump again for only 3 more weeks until she is 1 year. But am I being selfish? Should I suck it up and go back to pumping before I go to bed so she has enough bmilk at daycare? Any other tips for getting her to drink formula?

I would do it until she’s one. I hate pumping too but trying to convince her to take formula for three weeks seems like it would just cause unnecessary stress. I would just pump until she’s one and then stop after that.

If it is only 3 weeks I would start transitioning to whole milk. My pediatrician told me it was ok to start a few weeks before he turns one. My other kids all nursed for a full year so i was clueless that I could start giving whole milk a little early.

What kind of formula is it? My baby drinks Hipp organic formula. It's one of the best out there and tastes closest to BM. Similac and Enfamil taste pretty gross imo.

We’ve been on cows milk for about 2 weeks now (in addition to formula at breakfast and bedtime—wasn’t able to breastfeed) on drs recommendation. She’s been doing great. With being so close to 1 maybe try that or almond/soy, whichever you plan to do.
