What friends....

Just feeling down about a lot right now. I had a baby shower planned and it seems like everything is going wrong. Literally two people can make it (besides who’s hosting it) and now she doesn’t have a babysitter for her kids. Plus when I have to pay and help provide for the shower, I don’t have extra money for that. I’m not trying to bitch but I was really excited someone was throwing me a shower and now it’s probably not even going to happen.

I wish I had a strong group of female friends, I’ve never felt like I fit in where I live since I moved from Florida. It’s just got me in a depressed state of mind. My SO is pretty much the only person I hang out with, he’s my best friend and before that all my friends were guys.

For those ladies that have female friends feel blessed, who have a group of friends that will throw you a shower, be excited when you get engaged, stand by you on your wedding date. I don’t have that and it’s something I really wish I did the older I get. I just needed to rant about how I wish things were a bit different.
