When does dr check?

When did your doctor check to see if baby was head down or breech? I have a bad feeling this baby is breech. I am 34 weeks on Monday..thanks!

My midwife didn’t check until 36 weeks and she did it with her hands no ultrasound or anything. She said at that point she was positive baby was head down and it’d be very unlikely for the baby to flip back around. I know that some babies don’t flip till close to labor though!

my midwife checked at 32w. My little girl was transverse still. She said that I'll be checked again at 36w and if she's not head down by then, they'll have to figure out a way to turn her

They can change position right up until birth I heard! One girl I know at 37 weeks was head down...at 38 baby was breech! So from what I hear they can keep changing positions until late 🤷‍♀️

My midwife checks every appointment with her hands, but in 2 weeks (35 weeks) they’re doing an ultrasound!

Thanks ladies! I feel stupid asking because this is baby #5 but I just couldn't remember. I know she checks with her hands and feels around to determine. But I also have a growth ultrasound in my 36th almost 37 weeks.

My doctor checked at 35 weeks. But they normally check anywhere from 34-38 weeks

My midwife said at my next appt they will do a quick ultrasound to see baby’s position - that was my 33 week appt and my next one is at 36 weeks :)
