How long after losing your mucous plug did you go into labor?

37+5 and I lost part of my mucous plug at 36+2 weeks, another little bit yesterday, and then definitely ALL of it (it was a LOT lol) this morning! I hope that’s a good sign?!?! FTM mom here 🙃

Honestly, it’s not a good indicator of impending labor. Some women don’t lose theirs or like me lose it while already in labor. Some can lose it weeks or months in advance and it regenerates over time.

Was there any blood or just mucus? Mucus plugs regenerate. I’m 29 weeks and have been losing pieces of it for about 2 weeks now.

Lost mine 2ish weeks before I was induced, it had zero effect on when I went into labor, I was so excited as I thought I’d go into labour within a day or two at best, but no lol  everyone is different though 🤷‍♀️ good luck!!

I was leaking some kind of fluid for two days. After those two days I saw my doctor and she said I was 5cm dialated. Sometimes you don't lose the mucous plug.
