Pain?

So most of the time when my husband and I have sex I will get an awful pain on the left side of my body as if he's stabbing something important.. Lol if that doesn't sound crazy... I will even get lingering pain afterward as well. Some people have said to use lube and I promise thats not the issue like its always as if he's stabbing maybe my cervix but why do I feel it just on my left side? I can't afford a dr visit rn sooooo any ideas?
