Reasons for taking baby asprin when ttc?

Just had our first medicated iui, its been about 16 months ttc. I see that some people take baby asprin to help them conceive and just wonder how it helps and if its worth a try?

It's only a good idea if your doctor tells you to. Low dose aspirin only helps a very select group of women with certain medical conditions to get pregnant.

I took it 4 iui cycles didn’t work

I would suggest talking with your doctor first. It is safe for most but not all and could make a difference if you take the wrong amount. I'm only on 81 mg but some people need higher dosages. Also, if you are taking it they suggest to start taking it once a day before ovulation or it doesn't make much of a difference/there's no point in taking it. I've talked to 4 women on here who took it because they read on this app that it could help. They ended up pregnant but had miscarriages. When they talked to their doctor they found out that for them they wouldn't have prescribed it and it is possible that taking it caused their miscarriage. While it's safe for most I wouldn't want to risk being one of the few that it's not safe for. I am, however, on it because of a blood disorder. Typically it's prescribed for people with inflammation, blood disorders, multiole miscarriage, and in general to thin the blood. I will say that while on it a cut takes longer to heal and I bruise way easier so if you do take it try to be conscious of getting hurt, unlike me who accidentally walks in to walls and hits my hand on doors.🙄 Lol
