When to tell family and Friends?

When did you guys tell really close family and friends you were pregnant. I want to tell everyone right away but don’t want to jump the gun. This is the first time I have ever been pregnant so there shouldn’t be any reason why I should be worried about a miscarriage but I don’t want to tell everyone and then have to take it back. But I don’t think I could wait until 12 weeks. Just curious about everyone else experience. Thank you!

Miscarriages happen at random. I had two before a successful pregnancy. We told our parents I was pregnant at 8 weeks during my second pregnancy, then had to tell them I miscarried. I wished we hadn’t told them, but that’s just me. We waited until 16 weeks with my son

I told job and fam at twelve... as much as ppl want to rush and share honestly pregnancy has been the longest shortest thing of my life... what I mean? Just that there is no rush... I waited until 20 weeks to tell social media ... everything felt like good timing.. but everything is up to you! Some people are very private while others share everything.. I waited until my anatomy ultrasound to share with SM because I wanted most of my fears to subside first

I told my family and closest friends as soon as I found out. They will be there to support you for all the good and bad. We told our other kids at 8 weeks and they told everyone lol but we didn’t share anything on social media until after 12 weeks

We personally waited until 12 weeks, that was out preference. So nobody except my husband and I knew until 12 weeks.

I'm just saying from experience, I got pregnant my first time June 2018 and I had no worries about a miscarriage. We kept the secret from people for a while and unfortunately in August of 2018 we suffered a miscarriage. I'm obviously not trying to be negative but anything can happen to anyone. I am now 17 weeks 3 days along with a little boy and the worrying still hasn't stopped for me! Congratulations and I hope for a healthy baby for you!!!😁

Told my mom and dad and in laws right away then siblings at 10 weeks and rest of the family at 12 weeks
