Is this amount of protein in urine worrisome?

I just got discharged from triage. I went in due to a high blood pressure reading I got at Wal-Mart which was 141/90. I got monitored for about an hour. My blood pressure there was 139/76. I was discharged after the nurse said my labs looked great. I looked at my health profile and see that I have high protein in my urine though? Why would they not bring that up and say my labs look great?

They’re mainly looking to see if all your organs are functioning properly when doing labs. I had preeclampsia with my first and all labs came back fine as well. I was not officially diagnosed until after birth.

I’d call your OB right away in the morning.  The only time I’ve ever had protein in my urine during pregnancy was while I had preeclampsia.

Notify your OB in the morning. They may want to monitor you closer. High BP and elevated protein point to pre-e, but your other levels are okay meaning your kidney function is still normal. They didn’t catch that I had pre-eclampsia until I was IN labor and my kidney function was at 50%. I had my first high BP reading at 37.5 weeks so it progresses pretty quickly. My BP when I was induced (due to said BP) was 163/120.
