Alcohol at a shower?

So I dont believe this is extremely "controversial" or debatable but my friend & I were talking & came up on the subject of baby showers & adults. I dont have children of my own yet unfortunately but I've definitely attended many baby showers. My question is would you ever allow alcohol at your baby shower or childs birthday? I know a lot of women only have other women at their baby showers but I believe it's getting to be the norm these days of having women & their husbands/boyfriends/fiances also attend with them. I am not here to judge if you would or not, it's just a simple question. If possible could you please explain your reasoning behind why you answered yes or no? & please no bashing others in the comments for their answers 😊.
