Epidural???

Question

Wondering if you are planning on doing the epidural with your second baby? I didn’t have it with my first and the thought of the pain, I’m actually considering getting it with my second, though I hear they come out faster than the first. So I’m 50/50. What are your thoughts?

I did with my first.however I lasted to 8cms it was so painful .I felt like I was dying lol .I was like can I get epidural and they decided to switch shift 😐🤣 .I got the epidural though.this time I'm probably doing it again 😊 no shame .

I had it with my 1st cuz of how bad and close mine were together at 5cm... Tbh i was in heaven after i got it lmao this time I might try to tough it out the best that I can

I tried not to with the first but the pain was so bad I just couldn’t even think. I also progressed very slowly. I couldn’t imagine ever having another child without an epidural

I had it with my first. My new hospital does not offer them. They have other pain management. So no I won’t be getting it with my second. I was induced with my first, and it took 4 tries for them to get it in right.

I didn’t have an epidural with either of mine. The second was quicker but also more painful, it was very intense.

I was induced with my first and ended up on epidural. If I’m induced again I will likely go for the epidural again. I hope instead this time I get to experience natural contractions to see how far I can get without one! Best of luck.

I didn’t have it with my first or my second. She came in 15 mins and I wasn’t hooked up to any type of machine. It was a quick au natural kind of thing. It didn’t hurt that bad.
