So my MIL is a nice woman she’s responsible and good with the baby and is a sweet lady. But she’s not my mom and we aren’t like buddy buddy we’re polite and chit chat when we see each other but we’re not super close or anything. But she lives basically next door and really wants to be involved with the baby. She wanted me to leave the baby with her this afternoon to swim and just hang out with her which I did. I basically stayed home cleaned took a shower went back to feed her and I kinda thought I’d stay you know to hang out maybe I missed my kid but I basically fed her and put her to sleep and she said go home relax I’ll update you. Anyways she never did never texted me when she wanted me to come get her basically invited her daughter and mom and all that to hang with the baby. What kinda bugs me is I didn’t want to leave the baby for no reason I was just sitting at home. And that she never sent updates. And that she invited other people but didn’t seem to want me there. And my husband thinks I’m being insane and overbearing. I know I’m protective but like I just don’t see the point in leaving baby when I’m sitting at home doing nothing. Also I had to reschedule something i wanted to do with baby to let my mil watch her. Also she didn’t tell me when she napped if she fed her or not gave me no real update. Idk I’m just annoyed. Am I being crazy? I might be but I’m still bothered.
