Going deeper and deeper down that rabbit hole 😂

Ju

Posted earlier about a fainting spell yesterday, went to urgent care, they have no idea what’s wrong and called me this morning with my test results (didn’t do a pregnancy test since I’m only 11dpo). I’m going in for a follow up in the morning to do more tests including possibly a blood pregnancy test.

Anyway, she said over the phone that my white blood cell counts are high, so I start down the rabbit hole and start looking up medical journal articles about elevated white blood cells in early pregnancy. Turns out yes, pregnant women do have increased white blood counts (though literally a million other things cause it as well)

Well, now I notice my detailed lab reports were posted. What’s bigger than a rabbit hole? Cause that’s what I’m going down now 😂. The certain white blood factor that I have that’s high do in fact increase during pregnancy, and the other factor that I have that’s low is decreased in pregnancy.

Again, literally a million other things that would cause these results. But tell that my completely obsessed brain 😂

At least I’m looking at actual medical journals instead of blogs, that’s how I’m justifying myself.

If I were a sane person I would just wait until tomorrow morning to find out for sure, but no, no I’m not a sane person right now. I get point for self-awareness at least right? 🤦🏼‍♀️
