HELP!! Is this real???

Question

Okay, when you meet someone, in the romantic sense of “meeting someone,” do you ever just “know?” Like almost a “love at first sight” kind of deal but more like “hey I could start dating you right now even though we’ve only hung out once.” 
Yeah 
I met this guy. His name is Vince. He is the best friend of my friend Brandon, who happens to be dating MY best friend Peyton. 
Vince knew about me WAY before I knew about him and apparently was asking Brandon to introduce us and “put in a good word” 
Vince began messaging me and I found him attractive, but I never let on. 
Finally, I ran into him at a birthday party of one of our mutual friends and we completely clicked. I’ve never clicked like that with someone before, but I immediately became intimidated and was scared to message him. 
One day, my friend Peyton was with me while I cleaned my car. She decided to FaceTime her boyfriend Brandon. I immediately hopped in the car and asked Brandon about Vince. He told me that vince really really likes me and that he’s just waiting for me to do something about it. I
I immediately messaged Vince and asked him on a date, but then I found out that I’m two days, he would be leaving for basic training for the marines. 
We went out and talked and clicked like crazy. I decided that I would do something that I never do, and that’s sleeping with someone the first time I hang out with them . 
It was instant chemistry and we were super compatible. Afterwards and in between we talked about our lives and our futures and music. 
The next day he left for the airport and texted me until the minute they took his phone away. 
He sent several endearing messages and several sexts but the endearing ones really stood out to me. 
He asked for my address so he could write to me. He said “I’ll write you soon don’t worry cutie” and “don’t worry I’ll be home soon” and “you’re MINE when I get back” 
The feelings I have are so unexplainable and confusing and I’m hoping that his first letter home to me will clear things up. 
He returns in 13 weeks and until then I can focus on school and my career. I’m just not so sure what to even think.
Opinions and advice please? Has anyone gone through something similar?

girl i totally get you. i met my SO, slept with him our first time hanging out (TOTALLY unlike me lol), got to know each other for about a week, made it official, two weeks after that we both said i love you. now we are 3 years in, we have a home and fur babies and are planning on a wedding here soon.😊
follow your gut. these are your feelings and there is no set pace when it comes to love. so many people told me i was rushing but i just knew he was my home and he makes me happier than i ever thought possible. needless to say,i completely believe that you “know” when it’s that person. 
i can definitely see how hard it is seeing he isn’t home for you to completely solidify your feelings, but just keep feeling those feelings and explore it more when he gets home. and if you want to fall fast and hard, do it. if you want to take it slow, do it! best of luck, rooting for you.❤️

I definitely do believe in love at first..? Idk what to call it. My boyfriend and I met in highschool over 10 years ago. He was a year older. We never really talked but I was good friends with his brother. We both got married to different people (not each other) and we're both divorced now. At the beginning of this year, we crossed paths again after 11 years. And let me tell ya, there was so much chemistry way even before we started talking. He lives 5 hours away and he landed a job last year where he has to stay a minimum of a year and a half. He comes 2 maybe 3 times a month for 3-4 days. The long distance definitely sucks but we both feel that this is it. I know this is the man I want to spend the rest of my life with. Although I was very cautious at first, now I have no doubt in my mind. 
One thing you really gotta look for is consistency. Words dont mean anything if he doesnt show you over and over again. So look for that and Keep your feet on the ground girl. I wish you the best and I hope this really does work out for you both!

I had the same thing with my boyfriend. We met at a football game through friends and we’ve been together for about a year now. We clicked instantly and didn’t stop talking all that weekend. And the week after we met, he asked me out at the same football stadium where we met. 
We spend almost every day together, although we are still in high school and I love every minute together. But since we are still in HS I can’t 100% guarantee that we will stay together forever, but he is where I feel at home and he became my best friend the second I met him. 
It sounds like some cheesy romance novel, but the click is true and I’m so happy with him and that i was able to find him so early on in my life. If it wasn’t for him and my friends meeting, I don’t think we would have ever met or hit it off so suddenly.
