Late positives?

How common are they?
I’m at CD36, usually 30-32 max... I’ve never been late more than a day or two. Didn’t track ovulation, so truly have no idea how many dpo I could be.
Last faint positive I had was around 14dpo, so if I ovulated later or implanted later I’m likely too early to pick up. 
Per LMP I’m 4 weeks 3 days out, and some apps say it’s common to get to 5 weeks before a positive. Is it?

With my first pregnancy I was six weeks and my test was still fairly light, so I would say it’s possible.

My last period was June 6th, I also didn’t do any ovulation counting as on holiday, took a test last week and was negative, wondering how common it is for HCG to not show until later?

Im a week late never usually either doc said could be late ovulation so im hoping i got a faint yesterday but barely able to see it so im gonna wait it out

Sounds like your just late meaning you ovulated later in your cycle. Unless you get a positive pregnancy test I think your just late
