Strech marks appear?

If my mom and sister got them in their pregnancies,does this mean i automaticly will get them? I am 17weeks,started using Bio Oil since my first positive test and i dont have them yet. Also in 17weeks i only gained 1,5kg-2kg. Also the fact that i am carrying twins,makes them more likely to appear?

Its hard to say but I do hear alot of talk about it being genetic. I'm 34 weeks with twins and have 1 on my belly button but no others yet🤞. I didnt get them my first pregnancy but I am so much larger this time it may happen even though my mom/sisters didnt get them either 🤷

I think stretch marks are most likely...our bumps do get quite large with two babies. Mine appeared around 25 weeks plus. You might be lucky but i would prepare for a few!

I hear it’s genetic but my mom never carried twins so I expected to get more than her since I’m having twins. I had a very few light ones in the start of my third trimester but now in the last few weeks of the third trimester they popped up like crazy almost over night! :(

I didn’t get them with my first daughtered but some have just appeared this week with the twins 😩 I’m 34 weeks.
