I’ve been taking DHEA for about a month, after my ER, in anticipation of having to do another ER cycle (only got 1 embryo). It was my idea to take it, and doctor was not opposed. I’ve had no tests to check my natural levels and little guidance. But now, the literature I’ve read has been mixed.

My transfer is in 8 days, so I’ve now tapered off of it. Question is, if my FET fails, should I start back up on it? Wondering what your doctors recommended on DHEA. Do the benefits outweigh the risks of high testosterone? I’m nearly 37, and a low responder (can’t get blood out of a turnip). Otherwise, my hormone levels are more or less normal.

Note: I’ve been taking Co-Q10 for a few months, but figure that’s not going to hurt anything. Will stop that before transfer.
