Inducing me early?

I have had chronic high blood pressure for several years and have been medicated for it. Because of that I was told they will induce me at 38 weeks. Anyone else told the same thing?

I just went to the doctor on Monday and she told me the same thing. I have chronic high blood pressure and it has stayed the same through pregnancy. Running at high 130’s low 140’s over 70’s. She has me doing ultrasounds frequently just to check on my baby’s growth, but she said she will probably deliver her at 38 or 39 weeks.

I was induced at 40 weeks with my first due to his size and such. I'll be induced at 38 weeks this time due to an "aging" placenta.

I was induced at 38 weeks. I had high blood pressure throughout my pregnancy and my midwife said they would not let go past my due date so if I made it to 40+1 I’d be induced. My husband was deploying on my due date so I asked for an induction date to be set.

I was induced at 38 weeks with my first baby because of hypertension. My blood pressure spiked to 150 so they induced me that day.
