Rejection?

Ok so I got my belly button pierced back in February. Recent I’ve started to develop a large bump growing under the top of the piercing. I at first thought it was normal because I got a similar one under my cartilage piercing which eventually went away. But yesterday while I was cleaning it it pretty much popped. Pus and blood started coming out of it. I don’t know if I need to take it out or what. I’m hesitant to remove it because I really don’t want a scar (I’m self conscious about the ones I have already and I don’t need another one). I really just don’t know what to do. Someone please help me.
