Contractions or normal pain? Plz help 🙏🏻

Question

I am getting period like cramps in left side of my lower stomach and back and a little stabbing pain in vagina.
It’s coming and going every 2 hours and stays for 1-2 minute.
Plz help, do I need to go in L&D?
Edit: I am 33 weeks today.

That's just Braxton Hicks and probably baby headbutting or kicking your cervix. Its normal and no cause for concern. Real contractions involve the whole uterus and other muscles like the stomach, back, etc. Braxton Hicks only involve one side or region. You would want to go into L&D if you had consistent contractions coming every 5 to 7 minutes apart, lasting at least 1 minute, for at least an hour. Also they reccommend trying laying down on your left side, drinking a liter of water, and emptying your bladder to see if they go away prior to coming in.

3 contractions within 10 mins is when you need to go to l&d, the need to be more frequent and will feel almost like waves too
