This little void (He is IMPOSSIBLE to take pics of) is some kind of possibly maltese or shih tzu mix... all we know is he doesn’t shed! He belongs to my boyfriends family, and is a little over a year old, and has NEVER HAD A HAIR CUT (the pics are old, he’s super scraggly now).

Where they live it gets to about 100F currently, and he does stay outside for a lot of the day and they have no AC right now anyway.

MY POINT IS: they’ve never had a dog that needs haircuts, and never wash him or anything. they think the haircuts are too expensive and that he doesn’t really need them. It’s about $60-80 here for a full grooming.

How much is it where you are?

I feel terrible for the poor baby... i try to wash him weekly when i visit, but sometimes there’s just no time. Next time i’m back im taking him to be groomed (i’ve been away all summer) but i wish they’d pay for it themselves
