How long did it take for you to get a positive?

Just curious! My period is late by three days and I have so many symptoms that I never have with pms.

I took a test right after the 3rd day of my period being late and I got a double line on the test .

I didn’t get a positive test at all until I was almost 9 weeks. Even at doctors and my ob and at the emergency room (I didn’t go for a pregnancy test. They just have to test for everything with a lot of stuff) they all came back very negative and then one night I was just like. Well. Still no period. Still very sick. Might as well take another test. It was very positive. I went to my ob and I was 10 weeks

Most women can get a positive a couple of days before their missed period,  and results by the day of your missed period are usually accurate. You can definitely test now.
