It depends if a long-term relationship is your goal. If it does, then you have to ask if those differences in values will cause problems down the road especially if/when you’re raising children.

I think it depends on what the different values are. If somebody’s values are like “people of other races are subhuman” hell no. If you just have different budgeting strategies or whatever, you can probably work with that. To me, the most important values are the ones that determine how you treat other human beings. Those are the ones that are non-negotiable to me.

You can fall in love with anyone, honestly. But chemistry and compatibility are two different things. I think for a relationship to last long term, two people should be equally yoked
