Can your vision be too clear?

This is going to sound dumb but can your vision be too clear? I just got new contacts after a year and when I watch tv it’s so clear it kinda hurts to look at, like I need to be further away even though I’m already 10-20 ft away

Your eyes will adjust, ur prescription changed so give it a couple days and I’ll be used to it!

Two things. 
If your prescription adjustment was dramatic, then give it a few days. 
However it is also possible for vision to be overcorrected. If the prescription is a little past where it needs to be, it can be just as bad as when the prescription isn’t strong enough. 
If it gives you trouble past a few days, please go back to the doctor to have them recheck your prescription. 
They might also give you a sample set of contacts that are a step down from the contacts you currently have. That way you can try them out in the world and see if it’s more suitable. 
Regardless advocate for yourself. If it doesn’t feel right, then it’s probably not right.
