There are a lot of great artist on here and I wanted to share something I do with my students every school year. It’s called the Memory Project. They are a non-profit organization that takes photos of children from around the world and allow you to create a portrait for them. Then, they hand deliver that portrait to the kids letting them know that they are beautiful and worth someone’s time. Did I mention they film the process and you get a video that makes everyone 😭. These kids come from some very bad situations, whether it’s war, natural disaster, or extreme poverty. Most are orphaned and have nothing at all. So far we have created portraits for children in Columbia, Ukraine, Haiti, and now Afghanistan. We are patiently awaiting our video!
