Arm hair?!!?

My almost 4 week old has a single dark thick arm hair 😐 
4 weeks going on 14 years 
Definitely got this from his father 😂❤️

Lol my baby boy is so fuzzy. I have a middle eastern background and pretty hairy so his is mostly genetic,!not just lanugo, I think It’s so funny and cute though. 🐻

It’s called lanugo. It regulates their body temperature while in the womb, protects their skin from the amniotic fluid by Sticking to the vernix caseosa and making it stay in place. Lanugo also helps stimulate growth and development while in the womb. It’s perfectly normal for babies to still have it after birth. It’ll go away on its own soon. My LO also still has it in the same spot. It’s a lot darker than your LO’s though lol!

It will fade on its own the next few weeks. That's the hair that protected him/her while they were in your womb.
