My boyfriend and I went out to dinner after a long day. I had coupons that Denny’s sent me, so we used that. We give the guy our coupon and he says in a rude tone “this is expired. We don’t accept printed coupons. Where did you get this? I said, “uh, I JUST got these in my email sent by Denny’s a few days ago, the expiration date isn’t until the 31st, we just came by last week and used a printed coupon, and we’ve been using these for the last 6 months.” I pulled up the email for proof. He just said, “well there’s an app for a reason. We scan them on the phone, not by paper. I guess I’ll give you the 25% off to be nice.” Completely rude! I downloaded the app right then and there cause I had no idea they had a scanner. Guess I’ll remember for next time since we go often.

I signed up months ago on the Denny’s website, and they send print off coupons every few weeks to my email. The instructions say to print, and it can’t be scanned. But ok 😒
