Why do people say stop ttc

I hear this all the time from literally everyone!! They say all you have to do is stop trying. Everyone tells me they stopped trying then BAMMMM pregnant is this true... how do I even stop from trying I don’t ovulate without meds please give me some advice

For some people it works, but what works for some doesn't work for others. A lot of people say it's the stress of TTC that prevents it from actually happening.
But again, that doesn't mean it will work for everyone.
We've personally tried the non trying for months and months and it didn't happen for us. We tried tracking and timing BDing and even Clomid and none of it worked so "stop trying" isn't going to work for us. We have to go back to the fertility clinic.

It happened for us in 2016. After trying for over a year. I stopped tracking and focusing on having sex on my fertile days. I got pregnant the month that I didnt track. Didn't even know I was pregnant until after I missed my period by at least a week.

Some people turn trying into a chore and sex can become boring. But since you cannot ovulate without meds, not trying isn’t really an option for you. 
Try to spice things up in the bedroom. Don’t mention TTC. Just go with the flow. They make adult board games that can make sex fun! (I’ve got tons)
I got pregnant on my first try, but some of my close friends have STRUGGLED and one almost died in my ER due to a miscarriage. Some of them had to spice things up to prevent sex from being a chore. Some had to stop mentioning ovulation and TTC to their partner. After doing that, they became pregnant. 
Only 1 friend will have to have IVF and even then it’s not a promised she will become pregnant (PCOS and endometriosis).
