TMI question about Nexplanon/EWCM

So at my 6 week check up i got the nexplanon put in. This is my 3rd time having it and i love it. But this time, just 3 days after getting it put in i noticed A LOT of fertile cervical fluid. Clear and very super stretchy. Lasted a day then nothing. Could that have been ovulation happening? My boyfriend and i had sex 2 days after getting it put in because its supposed to be effective immediately, but i cant remember if i actually had ewcm after getting it inserted the last two times..is this normal?
