Step sister has no respect for me or my belongings🤬🖕🏼🤦🏼‍♀️
I feel like I just needed to rant because this has been going on for the whole summer and I’m getting really frustrated at this point. I know I should confront her but I don’t feel comfortable doing that with no hard proof. I know she’s doing it, I just can’t prove it. In the beginning of the summer when she came home from college she had no job. For about 4 weeks she was jobless and would be home alone all day because everyone else was working. Before she went to college she would take my things without asking and use them when she pleased. I thought college may have taught her boundaries and respect towards other people’s belongings and it did not. I had things go missing from the first day she came home. I went to buy a lock for my door and would lock it before I left for work. I’m 17 and I feel like my dad will think I’m hiding something when I lock my door, so after she got a job I stopped. Everything was good after she got a job. She gets home after me and leaves before me so I’m always home when she is. Well last night I took a quick shower after cleaning my room up. I am a very organized and particular person. After I got out the shower I noticed that my two makeup bins on my desk were not organized how I left them. The bins are cramped so I make sure to put my most used products in the front so it’s easier for me and that’s not how they were. I also have an expensive ass face mask that I love out with my makeup baskets and it was moved from the spot I always leave it to I front of the bins and there was a paper towel with some of the mask on it. Like I said I’d love to confront her but when I confront someone I like to have proof, and unfortunately I don’t have that. When she comes in my room her big ass untrained dog will follow her and constantly try to get on my bed! I have a strict rule of no dogs on my bed. I got two new piercings recently and don’t want to be washing my bedsheets everyday or having dirty dogs roll all over my bed. I have a dog and she’s not allowed on there either. I will push her dog down and say no in a tone and he will hop right back up and she will just laugh. It makes me just want to hit her because that is so disrespectful in my opinion. That’s her dog and she’s in my room. If I don’t allow dogs on my bed you should tell your dog to get down. At this point if I go to shower or leave my room and she’s home I want to lock my door, but I also don’t know what to tell me dad. I have no idea what to do now. I’m a very nice person and hate feeling like I’m coming off rude, but these are my things that I paid money for and I didn’t buy them so she could rummage through them and possible take and use them.
