Hsv2-G

Hello, I am 20. I am a sophomore in college. This summer I found out I contracted hsv2 from a guy I slept with a week ago. 🤦🏾‍♀️ I honestly don’t know how I should feel about everything. I got my results yesterday and I’ve been a wreck. I know it’s not a huge deal but I was clean before I slept with that guy and he knowingly had it and gave it to me. I hate myself. I think my life is ruined. I called the guy right after I got my results and he says to me “ Yeah it’s herpes, sorry didn’t think you’d get it.” He was so nonchalant about everything which was super weird to me. Anyway, I’ve had my first outbreak the second day after me and him messed around, I only had a small bump but I don’t usually get bumps unless I shaved and I haven’t shaved recently so I was concerned. I picked up some medicine today and I’m going to take it soon hopefully that’ll help the bump go away but I’d honestly appreciate any advice. 😊
