I felt when I Ovulated today, but ? is...

So I never quite put 2 and 2 together. I always use to tell people that I never got cramps DURING my period, but I would always get them BEFORE my period started. Since being on this TTC journey for the past few years, it finally clicked for me today. Those "cramps" I feel before my period, is my Ovulation taking place.

This morning I paid close attention to it for some reason, and it hit me. So about 8am this morning (which is my Ovulation day, and was also confirmed by blazing positive OPKs), I felt those mild cramps that I always thought were signs of AF coming, and when I realized it was my O happening, I got super excited for some reason. Mainly because 2 nights ago I got the FAINTEST of EWCM and was hoping it was the real thing. You see, I NEVER get that EWCM that everyone talks about getting. And then easly this morning, I DEFINITELY got that EWCM that I always wished for and wanted to see.

I think with the combination of SEEING EWCM, along with FEELING Ovulation taking place, I just got that sense of this could be it. Now, I'm probably getting my hopes up, and if so, then so be it, but at least I got somethings this cycle that I've never gotten before. Theres the silver lining.

•Okay, so QUESTION. So my man was at work until 4:30pm. The second he walked through the door we BD'd. If Ovulation occured and my egg was released at 8AM, and i had sex at 4:30PM, what are my chances of conception this month?

(I know the egg only lives for 12-24hours, and it can take up to 45min-12hours for the sperm to reach the egg)

I just wanna hear any true life stories of conception, or know it my chances are even good or not. We can only BD when our schedules allow us to 😩
