Did y’all have to have the strep b test done?

I’m so scared for this test, my dr hasn’t said anything about it but she doesn’t really inform me on much. I’m 31 weeks and 2 days pregnant with twin girls. Did any of you have to have it done? If so how bad was it??

It's easy and takes 15 seconds. Usually done around 36 weeks maybe sooner if you are experiencing possible early labor. 
It's not a big deal! It's just a bacteria some people have at different stages in their life. I tested negative my first pregnancy and positive this pregnancy. It just means I'm get antibiotics thru my IV during labor.

They swap around vagina and butt but it doesn’t go inside anywhere. It’s like a credit card swipe, and that’s it. Seriously, nothing to worry about.

They did mine a little early I want to say 32 or 34 weeks. It's unpleasant but doesn't hurt at all. Literally took 1 second.

the swab your vagina & anus and its done. strep b just means you need antibiotics during labor nothing serious i had it in two of my 3 pregnancies

I didn’t even feel it when she did the swab. But yes. You have to have it done because if you do have it and don’t get antibiotics during labor it can be dangerous for your baby.
