Ovulation after miscarriage?

Question

I had a misscariage only 2 weeks ago. Prior to it, my cycles were like clockwork... I ovulated on day 14 (LH peaked on 13 evening) and started my cycle on day 28.  
Now, I'm on cycle day 15 and no LH surge... Is it normal after a miscarriage to not ovulate for a while? It was an early miscarriage a 5 weeks 4 days.

My OB told me it's rare to ovulate after a miscarriage before your next period. I didn't think that was the case and found it very odd...

Sometimes it can take some time to get back to normal. After my first miscarriage I didnt ovulate till the week before my predicted period was due.

It’s definitely possible! Give yourself a cycle to try to get back to normal.
