When to know when baby is full

Question

I breastfeed but I’m having a hard time knowing when my baby is full. She doesn’t stop eating until she starts chocking so I have to hurry & sit her up & tap her back. She doesn’t push my nipple out or anything. Is there any signs I’m missing or ways to know when she’s full? TIA!!

I read something earlier that said someone’s lactation consultant told them if the baby’s hand is in a fist and their arm is tense and you can’t move it, they’re hungry. If baby’s arm is relaxed and you can easily move it. They’re full.

Usually baby will stop sucking for milk but may keep breasts in mouth for comfort and slightly suckle. If you watch the jaw line you should see a dramatic difference.
You can also offer the other breast and if baby won't take it they're full.
As for choking how long is baby on before choking as it could just be a forceful let down causing it.
