Any input dilated at 33 weeks??

Question

I went to the doctor and I am currently 33+4 and am 2 cm dilated and baby head is stationing at -3 . 
I was given a steroid shot for baby to mature her lungs In case she comes early . 
Does any one have similar stories or thoughts ?

A friend of a friend was dilated to a 4 by 36 weeks -2 station, baby came after her due date. 
Just try and relax and hope for the best dear

I had the same thing happen with my first, then they sent me to the hospital and found out I was contracting every minute as well. Got the shots to mature her lungs and they sent me to a bigger hospital in an ambulance. I had to stay there for 3 days and then they sent me home. 
They also did a swab to see if she would be coming within the next two weeks and it said yes.
So I had her at 35 weeks to the day 😊 the shots really help! She didn’t have to be in the NICU at all and we went home the next day!

I was dilated at 1-2 and 80% effaced at 30 weeks with my twins. Ended up making it to full term and needed to he induced
