Bathtime Stress

Bathtime has become SO stressful! My son just hates being leaned back to rinse the shampoo out of his hair.. I have to like hold him down to tilt his head back so he doesn’t get soap in his eyes.. and he just wails. 😭 So, I’d typically just do that at the end so we could at least have a pleasant time otherwise.

Well, in the past week or two.. he’s begun standing up and WILL NOT sit back down. I’m definitely afraid he’s going to slip.. so I quickly wash him with one hand while he stands- holding him under my other arm.. Then sit him down while he screams to wash his hair.. This is crazy though.. I thought bathtime was supposed to be fun!? 😅 Has anyone else ever had less than laid-back, splashing experiences with their babe?! This seriously bums me out! Any suggestions?
